La Procuradur\u00eda Federal de Protecci\u00f3n al Medio Ambiente (Profepa) confirm\u00f3 este jueves 2 de julio de 2026 la muerte de Kenzo, el tigre de bengala blanco que se escap\u00f3 hace unos d\u00edas en el municipio de Tepetlaoxtoc. <\/p>\n
La ma\u00f1ana de este jueves, el animal fue localizado en una zona cerril del municipio. Durante las maniobras para su rescate, el tigre falleci\u00f3. <\/p>\n
Previo a su localizaci\u00f3n, la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (Semarnat) inform\u00f3 que el ejemplar no escap\u00f3 de una instalaci\u00f3n operada por el Gobierno federal, sino de un predio o instalaci\u00f3n que maneja Vida Silvestre fuera de su H\u00e1bitat Natural (PIMVS). <\/p>\n
